Intro 2 Pickleball

The Adaptive/Wheelchair Intro 2 Pickleball lesson is for individuals that use a wheelchair while playing. Learn the basics of pickleball in this 2-hour Intro lesson. A great way to expand your circle of friends!  

Students must be at least 18 years old, and no prior sports history is required. Classes have a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 12. All pickleball equipment is provided.  A sports chair is recommended for this activity.

The curriculum includes rules of the game, serving, and dinking. This is a great way to see if the game of pickleball is for you!

📍 305 S. Madison St., Rockford, IL 61104  — The Sports Factory sits on the east bank of the Rock River.

🚗 Parking: There are two paved lots with free parking (lower lot and upper lot) . 

⬅️ When you enter the building, the pickleball courts are to the left (south side of the building).

💧 There are water bottle filling stations next to the restrooms.  

Rockford's premiere multi-use riverfront indoor sports venue opened on June 1, 2016. The facility is a renovated factory with a rich history that dates back to the W.F. & John Barnes Company in 1884.  The modern facility contains 105,000 sq. ft. of space for a variety of indoor amateur sports.  The facility has 12 hardwood pickleball courts.
